PRIMARY DUTY: The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the women’s volleyball program. This includes coaching, recruiting, fundraising, academic monitoring, and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Serve as an assistant volleyball coach with duties to include on-court coaching, recruiting, scouting, and the training of team members
2. Assist with conduct of camps, promotional, or fundraising activities
3. Assist in the academic monitoring of the student-athletes
4. Assist the Head Volleyball Coach with other duties as assigned
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Intercollegiate competition or coaching experience

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position must work and travel nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. This position must purchase and maintain a cellular device and service that will be used for work functions. This position must be responsible for plan choices, calling areas, service features, terminations clauses, and paying for all charges associated with the cellular device and service. This position is identified as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). The CSA will attend required CSA training and is an official of the University who has significant responsibility for students and campus activities and the authority to take action for the University.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May require graduate assistant or student labor supervision

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
