DESCRIPTION:

Brewton-Parker College has an immediate opening for an Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach. The assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the Women’s Head Coach in all aspects of the women’s wrestling program, which includes: scheduling, recruiting, coaching games and practices, logistics of travel, compliance, and developing the entire student-athlete – spiritually, academically, and athletically.

Applicants must first and foremost be committed to discipleship of their student-athletes. The successful applicant will also sign a “Lifestyle Standard Agreement”. The program will be conducted in accordance with all Brewton-Parker College, Mid-South Conference, Appalachian Athletic Conference, and NAIA regulations and policies, and must promote the mission and vision of Brewton-Parker College as well as the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and two years of experience. The successful candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the ability to successfully disciple student athletes. The candidate should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a budget, excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, fundraising, event planning, camps and financial management, the ability to work weekends, evenings, including travel, and can demonstrate commitment to or experience working with diverse populations. Must be able to lift and move equipment, maintain a valid driver’s license, and transport the team as needed.
