Job Description

This position reports to the Head Wrestling Coach, and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of coaching, planning, directing and developing sport and position specific skills of student-athletes in the sport program, including:

· Assist in the instruction, management and teaching of student-athletes in assigned positional area.

· Assist in the development and execution of meet/practice plans, coaching strategies and teaching methods.

· Assist coaching staff members with all recruiting and administrative responsibilities.

· Assist the breakdown of team and opponent video.

· Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Minimum Qualifications

A job offer is contingent on acceptance into the Coaching Education (campus-based) graduate program with the College of Education at Ohio University.

Preferred Qualifications

Wrestling background as a player or coach at the collegiate level.
