Job Description:
The Associate Athletic Director for Creative Services & Digital Brand Strategy will work with the Deputy Director in creating and implementing a strong visual brand for the University of Toledo Athletic Department, with an emphasis on increasing awareness, engagement, attendance, and revenue. This position will lead the planning and execution of creative initiatives that integrate our brand promotion into our marketing plans, ticket sales strategies, and fundraising campaigns. There will also be an expectation to define our brand identity and implement conventional and unconventional methods of storytelling into our creative strategy. As a member of the athletics executive staff, this position will also support the overall direction and success of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required in graphic design, art, communications, business, public relations, or a related discipline.
•Seven years’ experience in producing and creating sports content for marketing, promotions, board shows, social media, and athletic events.
•Three (3) year of supervisory experience.
•Expertise in graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suites, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
•Experience in remote and studio production including technical directing, editing, camera operation, and audio.
•Experience and knowledge of creative content strategy.
•Must keep regular hours with periodic evening and weekend work, including occasional travel.
•Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver’s license by time of hire.
•Experience working in Athletics in higher education environment is a preference but not required.
