Job Summary: The Associate Athletic Director of Crimson Tide Productions manages the video operations of Crimson Tide Productions. Directs, produces, and serves as the primary contact for digital and linear games on SEC Network and SECN. Provides, guidance, trains, and/or may supervise Crimson Tide Productions staff and student employees.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of broadcast operations experience; OR Master's degree and six (6) years of broadcast operations experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Avid Video Edit Solution operation experience. Fiber optic testing and termination experience. TV Broadcast equipment (video/clip servers, etc.) experience.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend complicated procedures and processes. Ability to negotiate technical assistance and establish schedules. Strong knowledge of creative media, broadcast operations, live game production, web operations, and videography. Ability to communicate positively and effectively, verbally and in writing. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Ability to build and sustain positive, credible working relationships with staff and internal clients. Ability to manage and lead multiple staff members. Ability to meet deadlines under stressful circumstances. Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities as driven by operational, developmental, and managerial needs. Ability to be a positive change agent.
