The Associate Director of Athletics will be responsible for day to day oversight of various external units within the intercollegiate athletics department including all ticket operations, corporate sponsorships, suites, and annual event fundraising for the department. In this role, the Associate Director of Athletics is responsible to facilitate growth and increase revenue by developing plans that will promote strategic revenue generation opportunities and work closely with the
NSU
Foundation, Wolves Club Committee membership, and athletics leadership to maximize results. Reporting directly to and working with the Director of Athletics, the Associate Director of Athletics will develop the strategic plan for the fundraising program, manage a portfolio of prospects, oversee all departmental fundraising events and represent the Athletics Department at University and community events.
ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBLITIES
:
* Identify and cultivate new annual scholarship and championship fund donors.
In conjunction with the
NSU
Foundation lead efforts to identify, recruit, and coordinate the volunteer leadership to plan and promote Wolves Club activities and special events. Foster the growth of the Wolves Club by soliciting new members and developing materials to continue to expand Wolves Club Operations to increase revenue.
Lead all Wolves Club season ticket membership initiatives including membership questions and customer service for 900+ members. Coordinate ticket sales, including solicitation of new members, and customer service / stewardship with current members.
* Lead all ticket operations including outbound sales, customer service and running point on communication with
NSU
Foundation and
NSU
.
* Lead all premium seating sales including strategies for group ticket sales and premium club experiences/sales, and meet defined annual expectations for Wolves Club and Stadium operations. * Develop new strategies to engage and steward donors and sponsors including utilization of technology.
* Management of major Wolves Club special events each year including working directly with
NSU
Foundation on staffing and outlining expectations.

REQUIRMENTS
:
* A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of previous experience in college and/or professional sports
* Demonstrated successful fundraising, marketing and promotion experience in athletics.
* A working knowledge of hosting
NCAA
championships and/or other major sports events is preferred.
* A master’s or advanced degree is preferred.
