Apply NowThe Associate AD for Facilities and Operations serves as a member of the Athletics Administration and a member of the senior leadership team. This position reports to the Deputy AD / Chief of Staff. This position is responsible for the oversight and execution of the department’s efforts in facilities management, event management, and operations.
The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations oversees all facets of the entire athletics facilities portfolio, which includes the newly constructed $65 million project under the Initiative for Wellness and Athletics Excellence (IWAE). This includes scheduling, hosting of events, maintenance, marketing, strategic planning, compliance in areas of insurance and liability, and other related matters.
The Associate AD for Facilities and Operations has direct oversight of a full-time staff of three, plus numerous student workers.

Essential Job Functions (Associate AD for Facilities and Operations):
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in a collegiate athletics facility setting. Previous collegiate administrative experience a plus. Experience with Division III either as a student-athlete, coach, or administrator is strongly preferred. Previous experience in scheduling high demand spaces, as well as working with a competitive aquatics center is a plus. Valid driver’s license required. High integrity and ethical standards are required, along with enthusiasm for the mission of Centre College and Centre College Athletics.
Expert communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Teamwork oriented attitude and a desire to work in a fast-paced, highly successful Division III athletic department a must. Knowledge of NCAA and SAA rules and regulations. Additional qualifications include being self-motivated, visionary, positive, energetic, eager to teach, willingness to travel, and the ability to foster a team environment is needed.

Certifications required: Adult First Aid, CPE/AED Certification required or to be obtained within first three months of employment. The ability to earn
