What we want
The Associate Athletics Director will oversee and coordinate all of the administrative duties in recruiting for the football program. He will oversee and manage the football office, football operations and the execution of football camps. The position will also serve as the athletics department liaison when organizations and other departments are working in conjunction with football. He will work closely with the head coach to put a process in place to help them recruit the best student-athletes for Texas A&M, as well as serve as a football ambassador both within and outside of campus.

Position details: Travel required. Nights, weekends and holidays as required to complete assigned duties.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree.
Five years experience in athletic administration and football program operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General knowledge of NCAA rules.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** :**
Master's Degree.
NCAA Division 1A.
Athletic Administration.
Responsibilities:
Administrative- Oversee and coordinate all of the administrative duties for Texas A&M football, supervise recruiting support staff and provide them direction on how to help the recruiting process. Manage the football office with regards to budget, security, special events, consultants and the head coach s calendar.
Football Operations- Oversee football operations as it relates to compliance, travel and team calendar.
Roster Management- Manage the football roster and scholarship numbers in accordance with NCAA, SEC, and athletic department rules and regulations.
Liaison- Serve as the liaison for any matter regarding human resources, auxiliary services, facilities, equipment room, video and media relations.
Camps- Oversee all administrative duties for football camps.
Compliance- Follow all compliance regulations and keep accurate records to be used in any compliance issues. Compliance issues cover every aspect of the program. A firm grasp of the NCAA and Conference rules greatly benefits the program. Other duties as assigned.
