The University of South Alabama’s Athletics department is seeking to hire an Associate Athletic Director, Revenue Generation.  Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

Responsible for coordinating all departmental efforts related to revenue generation through comprehensive sports marketing packages with corporate partners. Leads the Jaguar Sports Properties team. Oversees corporate sales and activations providing partners with traditional, digital, and other non-traditional media opportunities to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure through inventory such as venue signage, digital engagement and radio broadcasts. Determines University’s fit within the primary business market and develops, implements and reviews strategic business plans and sales strategies designed to maximize revenue generating opportunities. Develops creative, sellable inventory to attract new business and retain existing partners. Delivers on individual and team revenue goals through the selling of integrated marketing packages using traditional, digital and other non-traditional marketing channels to meet clients objectives. Develops and maintains strong, lasting relationships with both current and potential coporate partners. Develops strong relationships within the department and ensures that the sales team leverages internal support groups in order to drive sales. Collaborates with vendors, sponsors, departmental staff, and other appropriate University personnel to ensure activation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment. Manages the Jaguar Sports Properties budget. Recruits, manages and trains all Jaguar Sports Properties staff. Ensures compliance with all applicable NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and University rules and regulations. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. Related duties as required.
