| Preferred Qualifications |
Master’s degree preferred. NATA certification and be eligible for Georgia athletic training licensure. Minimum of two years of related experience in intercollegiate sports medicine program. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations desired.

| Position Summary |
Supervise and coordinate athletic training services for student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletic programs, specifically men’s basketball, for the University of Georgia Athletic Department, working under the medical direction of team physicians and in conjunction with referring physicians, other ancillary medical professionals, and UGAA staff (athletic administration, athletic coaching, athletic training, academics, strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, counseling/sports psychology) and adhere to NCAA, SEC and institutional rules and regulations.

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from health care professionals, patients, parents and guardians, individuals and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
