The Men’s Basketball Athletic Trainer will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive program of prevention, recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries to UT Arlington student-athletes.
Practicing methods of preventing athletic injuries to student-athletes.
Recognizing, evaluating, and providing immediate care for injuries sustained by student-athletes.
Designing and implementing programs of rehabilitation and reconditioning for specific injuries sustained by student-athletes.
Monitoring assigned team practices and competitions, both on and off campus, to ensure that appropriate healthcare for student-athletes can be administered.
Collaborate with the Men’s Basketball Head Coach and staff to allow for effective communication between players, staff, and athletic trainer.
Facilitate appropriate student-athlete healthcare for physical and mental conditions with outside medical providers/clinicians.
Performs other duties assigned.
Master’s degree with two (2) years of athletic training experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may suffice.
Texas Athletic Trainer License.

Class “C” Operator’s Driver’s License. Applicant selected must provide a current three-year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver’s License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
