Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director, Finance & Administration, the Associate Director of Athletics Administration will serve as the primary contact for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is responsible for the administrative, operational, and financial support of the Athletics Department. The Associate Director of Athletics Administration will be responsible for knowing the rules that regulate NCAA Division I Athletics. The Associate Director of Athletics Administration will oversee the management of all personnel activities including, but not limited to hiring, on-boarding,position changes/upgrades, terminations/resignations, off-boarding, labor relations,University compensation guidelines, job descriptions, compliance, employment contracts,payroll, timekeeping, absence management, graduate externships, and student workers.The Associate Director of Athletics Administration will lead in the recruitment, hiring, anddevelopment of a diverse and inclusive Athletics Department committed to advancing the
priorities of Temple’s NCAA Division I Athletics Program.
The Associate Director of Athletics Administration is responsible for staying abreast ofNCAA Division I trends, shifts, technologies, and best practices. Additionally, the Associate Director of Athletics Administration will look at all of Temple Athletics teams, sub-teams, andcampus colleagues to develop integrated recruitment strategies and hiring plans that ensureeffective collaboration. The Associate Director of Athletics Administration will perform other
related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human ResourceManagement, Sports Management, Finance, or related field andat least 4 or more years of experience in athletics administrationand/or human resources management, recruitment and hiring,and diversity equity and inclusion. An equivalent combination of
experience and education will be considered.
