• Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience within a business office setting/experience within a collegiate athletics department is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product.
• Experience with an accounting software; Workday is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with review of the Athletics budget accounts to meet all internal and external reporting needs.
• Produce and manage monthly Operating Budget Reports for every team and unit within Athletics.
• Ensure expenses are adequately budgeted for and appropriately coded as it pertains to NCAA reporting.
• Produce any other financial report that may be requested by administration.
• Verify that Ticket Office deposits are appropriately coded and balanced.
• Assist Athletics CFO during the fiscal year budgeting process.
• Work with the university’s Purchasing office and Athletics department units to prepare and submit required bids, contract renewals and other professional services contracts; ensure that bids and contracts meet state and university regulations; once awarded create appropriate requisition/purchase orders.
• Work closely with university personnel with the annual production of the EADA and NCAA financial reports.
• Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Business Strategy/Chief Financial Officer
