The Iowa State University Athletics Department is now accepting applications for a post‑graduate Associate position supporting the Student‑Athlete Development and Letterwinner Engagement units. Designed similarly to a post‑grad internship, this role offers meaningful exposure to the professional landscape of collegiate athletics through a progressive, hands‑on learning experience.
We are seeking hardworking, responsible, and motivated candidates interested in contributing to student‑athlete growth and alumni engagement. The Associate will assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that promote holistic student‑athlete development and strengthen connections with Cyclone letterwinners, while operating in full compliance with NCAA, Big 12, and university policies.

Position Details
One year term: July 2026 - June 2027
Hourly pay plus overtime eligible (approximately $32,000 annualized base salary); receives paid time off leave; full benefits package.
Level Guidelines
• Individual contributor position with developing professional and/or technical skills working under immediate to general supervision
• Grasps professional-level knowledge and concepts of field while working in a progressive learning mode
• Works on problems and issues of somewhat limited scope
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers are available or can be obtained
• Responds to inquiries and issues, escalating to manager or higher level workers as appropriate
• May lead projects of limited scope and complexity
• May provide guidance to students
