General Summary of Position:

The Associate Head Coach - Baseball assists with the organization and supervision of all aspects of the Baseball team within the parameters designated by the university, the America East Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Essential Job Duties:
• Organizing, recruitment, evaluation of student-athletes, serve as point person for all recruiting schedules, travel, depth charts, scholarship and financial details. Provides a comprehensive breakdown of high school and NCAA transfer portal targets to Head Coach.
• Conducting and supervising practices and player conditioning
• Develop and install an offensive hitting strategy. Work directly with one positional group: infield, outfield, or catcher, as directed by Head Coach. Practice various developmental techniques on an individual basis with the players i.e. Synergy film, Trackman data, 643 scouting reports, etc.
• Accumulate information to comprise scouting reports on future opponents.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of game strategies.
• Breakdown and analysis of individual film.

• Providing appropriate leadership, direction and supervision relevant to the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes.
• Creating a positive and productive environment for the student-athletes.
• Participating in conference and NCAA meetings.
• Adhering to all conference and NCAA rules/requirements relevant to the conduct of the intercollegiate baseball program.
• Preparing information relevant to budgeting, equipment needs, and program concerns.
• Coordinate Team Travel by planning travel itineraries for the program and organizing bus/plane travel, meals, hotel arrangements, etc.
• Assigning responsibilities of team managers.
• Providing assistance with departmental fund-raising.
• Representing the Department of Athletics at designated University, departmental and community functions.
• Serving in public relations capacities as needed.

This position is full-time, benefited and non-unit in Grade SC4. Formal minimum $60,000, 25th quartile $67,500 and midpoint of $75,000. Anticipated salary within this range is determined based on experience and qualifications.
