North Park University, a proud member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Associate Head Cross Country Coach. This twelve-month, full-time position directs all aspects of the men’s and women’s cross country programs including recruitment, retention, coaching, scheduling, team travel, and budgeting.

Responsibilities
Reports to the Director of Track and Field and Cross Country.
Oversee the daily operations of the men’s and women’s cross country programs at North Park University.
Serve as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s track and field programs at North Park University.
Provide on-site coaching in meets and practices, including organization and implementation of daily training schedules for all team members.
Manage all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
Supervise, develop, and evaluate part-time, volunteer, or graduate assistant coaches.
Ensure a strong commitment to the academic success of cross country and track student-athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior.
Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Track and Field and Cross Country, Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Sport Management, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.
Salary Range: $50,000-$52,000
