Job Summary:

Assistant Women's Hockey Coach. Responsibilities will include assisting the head coach in all duties involved in running a competitive Division III women's hockey program and while upholding the College of St. Scholastica’s Benedictine Values and the values of the women’s hockey program.

Key Results & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an effective role model for college-age students within the framework of the College's Benedictine values and mission.
  • Provide effective communication to the head coach including regular meetings.
  • Assist in recruitment and retention for a roster of a minimum of 25 student-athletes.
  • Coach games and practices, including organization and implementation of daily practices. Lead individual skill sessions.
  • Prepare film breakdown and analysis, and present analysis to team members.
  • Plan and prepare for games.
  • Contribute to strength and conditioning program including one-on-one strength and conditioning work with student-athletes.
  • Ensure safety and well-being of student-athletes.
  • Monitor academic progress and personal development of student-athletes.
  • Organize and implement overnight visits with potential student-athletes.
  • Research academic and athletic credentials with potential student-athletes.
