ASST DIR/CHIPPEWA ATHLETIC FUND
The primary responsibilities of this position are to contribute to the fiscal year annual fundraising goals of the Chippewa Athletic Fund (CAF) and to build and maintain quality relationships with donors, alumni, head coaches and community members. These goals are met through various annual fundraising initiatives, events and one on one interactions.
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and work experience that equates to at least four years.Experience interacting with and soliciting potential donors.Proven track record of achieving fundraising/sales goals.Experience in event planning and execution.Familiarity with large complex databases.Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure institutional compliance with athletics development initiatives.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Bachelor’s degree.Experience in fundraising at the collegiate level.Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Serves as Chippewa Athletic Fund (CAF) liaison for assigned sports.Conducts a minimum of 120 in-person visits with donors and prospective donors annually, while making at least 720 total contacts.Manages a portfolio of approximately 120 donors and prospective donors.Assists in the sale of premium seating (club seats, loge boxes, suites and courtside seats).Administration of CAF membership benefits.Daily solicitation calls, gift processing and attribute reporting.Develops and successfully executes fundraising campaigns for assigned programs.Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring student workers and student volunteers.Projects a positive and professional image of the university and the CAF to the public at CAF and athletic events.Serves as point of contact for CAF website and audio newsletters.Other duties as assigned.
