Responsible for assisting in publicizing and promoting Loyola’s 15-sport intercollegiate athletics program.
Serves as the primary contact for at least two varsity sports (as assigned).
Assists with home event game management and promotions.
Assists with website updates, website blogs, video production and editing, feature stories, social media updates, historical updating and archiving.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
Minimum of 3 years previous work experience in collegiate athletics
A minimum of 3 years experience in athletic media relations/sports information required.
Solid writing and interpersonal communication skills and collegiate/professional sports media relations/communications experience.
Previous experience working with Stat Crew/Stat Genius and editing video content.
Marketing/ promotions skills a plus.
Experience working with Macintosh computers and design software and must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
