Job Summary/Basic Function

This position is a 2-year internship funded through the

NCAA

Pathways to Excellence grant. The successful internship candidate will assist the Director of Sports Information with day-to-day operations of the Sports Information Department. This position will provide social media content for the Concordia Athletics Department which includes creating graphics and scheduling social media posts throughout the year. The intern will also organize the production of live-stream broadcasts for home athletic contests. In addition, the intern will work with the Director of Sports Information in producing game day programs, scheduling and managing the game day statistical crew for athletic events and in writing recaps for athletic contests.

The intern will assist the Director of Sports Information with special projects and other reasonable duties within the Sports Information Department.

This person will operate within guidelines of the

NCAA

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate degree and one year of experience in related work or equivalent education/experience.

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 per year
