Instruct and coach university field hockey athletes. Plan and execute (through team and individual practice and instruction) specialized training programs for field hockey player technical skill development, including sequential training plans for teaching goal-scoring techniques, as well as team training programs that incorporate international tactical systems and playing styles. Analyze and evaluate game and practice video of team performances to identify strengths and weaknesses of team, focusing on technical analysis/evaluation of individual performance/technique, and modify player development/training plans as necessary based on analysis. Analyze and evaluate game video of future opponents to identify technical tendencies and weaknesses and assist with preparation of game plan to exploit weaknesses. Identify and evaluate technical and skill-related strengths and weaknesses of future prospective student-athletes as possible recruits, and work with head coach to develop short- and long-term recruiting strategy based on analysis. Plan and monitor athlete nutrition plans to maximize performance and competition reparation/recovery. Travel as needed on nights and weekends for competition.
