Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The part-time assistant coach will work with the head coach to develop and maintain a positive experience that focuses on student-athlete development, building an inclusive culture, recruiting elite prospects, and contributing positively to the College’s Athletic Department. The coach will help create purpose and value for the College’s and the Athletic Department missions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting head coach in practice preparation and game planning
• Recruiting-assist coordinating football program’s recruiting efforts
• Recruit contact and visit coordination.
• Coordinate player retention efforts

This role is limited to a maximum of 975 hours per year and is not eligible for benefits

Applicant review will begin on March 24, 2026 and continue until role is filled.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Some previous college coaching experience
• Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and responsibilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Ability to utilize interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and motivate
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and efficiently manage their workload
• The ability to communicate effectively utilizing various modes of communication
• Ability to effectively recruit and coach DIII student-athletes
• Candidates should possess an understanding of NCAA Division III and conference rules and regulations
