- Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum of 1 years experience working in a collegiate football program as an assistant coach. - Obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of employment. - Pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test for off-campus recruiting within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter. - Experience and knowledge of all applicable rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Big Sky Conference, and other established bodies that govern intercollegiate athletics and the University. - Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity. | | Preferred Qualifications |

Job Duties

Assist in the administration, planning and organization of appropriate preseason, in-season, and post-season programs, including practice planning and scheduling. Responsible for all special teams, including, but not limited to, special teams practice plans, special teams game plans, film review, and grading. Assist with with coaching the defensive unit as deemed necessary by the Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Defensive responsibilities include, but are not limited to game planning, scouting, and practice planning. Meet with head coach and other staff members daily to plan practices, competition, and other team matters. Communicate problems, issues and program improvement ideas to the Head Football Coach & Defensive Coordinator. | | Essential Function Indicator | Yes |
