Job Summary
Under close supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Ticketing Sales & Strategy, this internship is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of outbound sales and new business generation through the sale of single game and season tickets. Assist in developing procedures and an outbound sales plan that works within the overall marketing plan and meets overall sales and revenue goals as determined byICAadministration. Assist in identifying prospect lists and contact leads through various department, campus and community resources, and utilizes multiple methods of communication and opportunities to contact prospects and complete sales. Assist in outbound sales and service practices, prospecting, lead generation, data capture and database management. Assist in contacting prospects via phone, personal visits and presence at community events, to identify prospect’s area of interest, and pitch appropriate ticket package that best match their interests. Assist in tracking sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for reporting purposes as well as identifying areas that need more focus and emphasis to meet outbound sales goals.

Work flexible schedule and occasional evenings/weekends.
Occasional holiday work and changes in schedule on short notice, to meet operational needs.
Attendance at all home football games and men’s basketball games is required.
