Under the general supervision of the Senior Associate Athletics Director (AD), manage the maintenance services for Dobbins Baseball Complex, Aggie Soccer Field, La Rue Softball Field, Hickey Gym, Beach volleyball, Tennis, Field Hockey Field, Track and Field and Toomey Weight room. Lead and manage units providing direct facility support including operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, building structures, electrical systems and custodial services. Oversee the day to day operation of these facilities including but not limited to opening and closing procedures, maintenance projects, work orders, branding, signage, grounds coordination, scheduling and cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Minimum Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in sport management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience scheduling multiple events in multiple facilities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge of a wide variety of recreational and competitive athletic programs and activities.

• Knowledge of athletic facility maintenance and operation, including safety.

• Knowledge of athletic event coordination associated with event management.

Preferred:

Preferred Education/Experience

• Experience recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, and evaluating staff in a variety of customer service and safety related positions.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

• A minimum of four years operating a large athletic facility.

• Skills managing and operating large athletic facilities, including program development and coordination, financial management, supervision of personnel, risk management, athletic facility maintenance and repair.

• Knowledge of computer network and programs including MS Office, registration software, email and web access programs. Skills managing and operating facilities, including program development and coordination, financial management, supervision of personnel, risk management and aquatic facility maintenance and repair.
