Assist Event Manager with all facets of home athletic contests as assigned. Some athletic building
coverage as needed.

| Major Responsibilities |
Support and execute the mission and vision of Utica University, the athletic department, and
the Empire 8 conference.
Assist with supervision and management of home athletic contests which includes:
o Work with Event Manager to ensure student workers and game staff are assigned and
available to work.
o Communicate with Event Manager well in advance of contests to determine any
special needs/intermission events etc.
o Greet officials and visiting teams/coaches and escort them to their locker room.
o Remind bus drivers to park in an appropriate location (usually alongside the athletic
center prior to Lot J.)
o Show teams with Athletic Trainers where they can tape/ice/heat their student-
athletes.
o Work with Event Manager to evaluate venue and troubleshoot/make adjustments as
needed.
o Perform assigned game duty (clock operator, announcer, scorebook etc.)
All attempts will be made to have game duties known prior to contest.
o Debrief event with Event Manager.
Assist with the coordination and preparation of the Utica University Hall of Fame and Senior
Student-Athlete Banquet.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Event Manager/Associate AD (ie. occasional building
coverage as needed).

| Education & Experience Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree required.
