Position Summary Information
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: provide accounting assistance for several athletic accounts; work closely with university and foundation finance offices; prepare purchase orders and requisitions, travel authorizations, and deposits for all department accounts; serve as receptionist, greeting incoming visitors and students, answering phones and providing information; process incoming and outgoing mail; prepare monthly invoices to advertisers and process payments upon receipt; serve as Human Resource contact for the Athletic Department including monitoring and entering leave and comp hours, creating and entering job postings, completing department required paperwork for new employees, complete EAF’s and EPAF’s as needed; manage student employees including hiring, setting hours, provide training, and assigning tasks; prepare Graduate Assistant contracts and collect and process monthly time sheets; maintain inventory of office supplies for the Athletic Department; assist with planning and organizing special athletic events; attend athletic events and provide help where needed.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
