Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the University's mission and athletic department core values of SPIRIT, SERVICE and STRENGTH.
• Serve as primary statistician and game day athletic communications contact (write press releases, conduct interviews, assist with the in-game broadcast production, handle in-game statistics, etc.).
• Work in coordination with Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Director to manage game-day staff for assigned sports.
• Assist with special events as necessary
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least one year of experience in collegiate athletics communications preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, computer and oral communication skills are required.
• Successful applicants will be knowledgeable in Statcrew/NCAA Live Stats, Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Premier, as well as have some knowledge of HTML code.
• Digital photography experience a plus.
• Video editing and statistical software experience preferred.
• Night and weekend work required.
