Position Summary
Florida College is seeking an Athletic Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the Athletics
Department. The Athletic Coordinator assists the Director of Athletics with NAIA and Continental
Athletic Conference (CAC) administration and compliance, game-day operations, budgeting, travel
coordination, facility scheduling, and departmental logistics while supporting the mission of
Florida College.

• Serve as the Athletic Department's primary point of contact for NAIA and CAC compliance,
monitoring recruiting rules, financial aid limits, and playing/practice season regulations;
maintaining accurate compliance records; and preparing required eligibility certifications,
squad lists, and other institutional compliance reporting.

• Serve as the Athletic Department's primary point of contact for NAIA and CAC compliance,
monitoring recruiting rules, financial aid limits, and playing/practice season regulations;
maintaining accurate compliance records; and preparing required eligibility certifications,
squad lists, and other institutional compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, and academic advisors to certify and
monitor student-athlete eligibility, including enrollment status, credit hour progress, and
satisfactory academic progress requirements under NAIA guidelines.
• Represent Florida College at required NAIA and CAC meetings as assigned.
• Collaborate with administration to plan and execute athletic scholarship programming to
support recruiting and enrollment goals.
• Assist with managing the athletic department budget under the guidance of the Director of
Athletics.
• Collaborate with the Director of Athletics to develop sponsorship opportunities and
community partnerships.
• Oversee all home game operations by coordinating event logistics, staffing needs, officials,
athletic trainers, security, ticketing, facility setup, and event execution.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise game-day personnel in coordination with the Sports
Information Director and coaching staff.
• Coordinate athletic facility scheduling and usage with Florida College Facilities.
• Ensure all team travel arrangements, including transportation, lodging, and meals, are
properly coordinated.
• Coordinate student-athlete insurance requirements, injury claims, and insurance
verification.
• Assist with hosting tournaments, conference championships, and special athletic events.
• Support coaches with operational and administrative needs.
• Maintain departmental operational records and required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
