Responsible for the function and supervision of the Athletic Department, coaches, scheduling, and general supervision of athletes. Additionally, the position will oversee one of the following sports directly: Golf, Cross Country, or Rodeo. This position will be a 10-month position and reports to the ENMU Ruidoso President.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree required. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Successful coaching experience.
Applicant must be committed to excellence in coaching.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Must possess a valid driver's license.

Complexity/Effort:
Ability to learn and apply campus policies and procedures; ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the College community and campus visitors; ability to gather and analyze data necessary for informed decisions involving the community, students and employees. Skills in interpersonal communications are needed. Must have the ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; to follow oral and written directions; to understand and follow safety procedures; to operate and use standard office equipment. Must be of good moral character with conduct consistent with the college and state code of conduct.
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary in nature and at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
