Apply NowCheyney University invites applicants for the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics position. This is a full-time (100% FTE) position and is a part of the APSCUF collective bargaining unit.
The incumbent directs and administers intercollegiate athletics on behalf of Cheyney University and provides quality educational and student athletic experiences as part of a comprehensive effort to foster student-athletes' success. The position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a comprehensive athletics program for both men and women, providing leadership to staff coaches, trainers, and administrative staff. The Director is expected to work in collaboration with University Advancement to ensure fundraising goals are established and met, to promote and market programs, and to develop funding initiatives for innovative programs and facilities. The position of Director of Intercollegiate Athletics is a twelve (12) month position.

This is an exempt position that may require occasionally working beyond the normally scheduled workweek, modifying existing work schedules, or flexing hours to meet University needs. Work rules and regulations are governed by the current agreement between the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE)
