Position Summary Information
| Job Summary |
The Athletic Event Staff position will provide support for the home varsity athletic events, specifically football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, and track & field. The College needs to fill various roles to include public address announcer, scoreboard operation, game/plan/shot clock operation, official scoring, music, and others as needed. Schedules are flexible and varied depending on the day, week, month and year.
Current College employees may apply. For current non-exempt employees, the base pay will be $15/hour. If working these events puts an employee into overtime then a blended rate will be used for calculation.
Eligibility will vary based on current role and pay status. Employees need permission from their supervisor to work these events.
For current exempt employees or community applicants, the pay will be $35 per event for all sports with the exception of football which is $50 per event due to the time commitment.

| Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma is required. Must understand the general rules and gameplay for the respective sport and be able to maintain impartiality and professionalism.
