Position details

Job Summary

The Athletic Events Staff will report to the Ticket/Facility Manager. The main responsibility is for game operations for (7) Division I sports (Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Softball and Baseball).

Minimum Requirements

Must be a current MSU studentMust maintain satisfactory academic progressMust feel comfortable using nominal judgment and possess basic analytical or decision-making skillsMust have the ability to understand and to follow written and verbal instructionsNo specific education or specialized skills are required

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Knowledge of athletics preferred. Dependable with strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Working Conditions

Due to the high level of responsibility and time required, this position works outside of regular working hours. Duties require evening and some weekend work. Occasionally during holiday periods. Work can be outside as well as inside (depending on sport). Semi-casual attire.
