Maintains and repairs small engines, differentials, pumps, axles, cardio electronics, and parts in
DCAD
program vehicles, exercise/cardio equipment, and tools.
High School plus 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, equipment, and shift-type vehicles
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Must have basic mathematical skills
• Ability to perform strenuous physical activities in all kinds of weather
• Must be able to work extensive overtime or at night
• Must be able to communicate with and understand the need for solid public relations with a diverse community including administrators, coaches, faculty, the general public, etc

Working Conditions
Work requires bending (35%), kneeling (20%), climbing (2%) and working in cramped or awkward positions (2%)
Work involves regular lifting (30%), carrying (30%) an holding objects weighing from 25 to 150 lbs. (10%)
Work is performed: indoors (40%), outdoors (60%), in bad weather (35%) and in areas that are noisy, dirty or dusty (20%).
Work involves exposure to hazards from electrical shock (5%), burns (10%), cuts (50%) and exhaust fumes (40%).
