McPherson College welcomes enthusiastic applicants for an Athletic Facilities Intern.

This is a temporary position, through August 1, 2024, that reports to the Director of Athletic Facilities and Game Day Operations. This position is an hourly position and does not include college benefits.

The primary responsibility will be to support the goal of the department by elevating the fan and student athletic experience for all of McPherson College sporting events. This position is responsible for supporting all athletic facilities, both indoor and outdoor, by upkeep, maintenance, repair and improvement. In this role, there is an expectation of lawn/field care and preparation including mowing, trimming and dirt work, moving/lifting of moderate to heavy materials, field striping and minor repairs of turf surfaces.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Previous participation and/or related experience in college athletics is preferred.

The ability to lift, drag or carry up to 50 lbs is required. A valid driver’s license is also required.
