The Department of Maintenance of Practice Grounds is accepting applications for an Athletic Field Supervisor.
This position reports directly to the Sports Turf Manager and carries out and assigns duties as directed. The Athletic Field Supervisor should possess skills and knowledge of specific maintenance techniques for

Ability to act as turf manager at the assigned facility or location.
Ability to instruct and supervise others.
Possess skills and knowledge of specific maintenance techniques, methods, tools, and practices used in the maintenance of synthetic and natural turf playing surfaces.
Possess the ability to operate specialized athletic turf equipment.
Knowledge of Integrated pest management including identification of pests and applying proper treatment.
Ability to maintain, repair, and schedule irrigation systems at athletic facilities.
Ability to work in all type of weather conditions.
Skilled in turf management, turf equipment operation, irrigation systems, and integrated pest management practices
High School diploma
Two (2) years experience in sports turf or golf course maintenance or related field.
Must Maintain a valid TN Driver’s License during employment.
Category 3 Pesticide Certification
Sports Field Maintenance / Golf Course Maintenance
17.90 an hour
