Gardner Webb Men’s soccer is seeking applicants for the position of Athletic Graduate Intern (AGI) for Men’s Soccer. Qualified applicants will assist in fostering a highly competitive and positive team culture where high-quality relationships with fellow coaches and student-athletes are emphasized. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the head coach to prepare practice plans and directlyassistwith strategic and personnel decisions
• Assistthe head coach to coordinate and execute a successful recruiting strategy to build the best possible chance for championships
• On and off-field skill instruction
• Goalkeeper training
• Office dutiesincluding team and individual video analysis
• Assistwith equipment storage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degreerequired
• Acceptance into a GWU graduate programrequired

• Valid driver’s licenserequired
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Coaching experience isdesiredwith the purpose of coaching as a career
