Description

Job Purpose: To cover one of Lynchburg’s athletic programs throughout the season with video.

Specific Job Duties: Take video highlights at every home game for assigned sport and one practice per week. After games, the student-videographer must create a video for Lynchburg Sports to post on Instagram in Reel format and a highlight video for the Lynchburg Sports YouTube. The student-videographer will also create two student-athlete spotlight videos and a season recap video for YouTube.

Starting Salary: $11.00 an hour

Schedule: All home games for assigned sports, one practice a week, editing time on your own.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively and have the ability to understand, comprehend and follow directions

• Must have good teamwork skills

• Experience editing and recording video at sporting events

• Adobe Creative suite preferred

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing/setting/wrist movement
