The Athletic Operations Coordinator supports daily athletics operations by managing event logistics, scheduling, facilities use, travel, equipment, and administrative coordination for coaches and student-athletes. This role serves as a key point of communication, ensures smooth game-day and practice operations, and maintains compliance with institutional and NCAA guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate game-day operations including facility setup, breakdown, and readiness.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, facilities, campus police, game officials, visiting teams, and event staff.
  • Ensure competition venues meet NCAA, conference, and institutional standards.
  • Coordinate staffing needs for home events, including scorekeepers, clock operators, security, and support personnel.
  • Assist with emergency action planning and game-day risk management procedures.
