Job Summary:
The Athletic Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the successful production of both athletic and non-athletic events held in or on the athletic facilities. The Athletic Operator will play a vital role in creating a world class in-game atmosphere.
Job Duties:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The specific responsibilities of the Athletic Operator could be, but not limited to, the following on specific event days:
• Providing exceptional customer service on event day.
* Assist with on-field/court activities as needed.
* Greet patrons and assist with finding their designated seating area.
* Enforce University & Athletic Department policies.
* Serve as a statistician, replay operator and/or time out coordinator
• Supervise hospitality and restricted areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge on concepts relating to athletic game management.
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated professional that excels working independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, creative passion and a life-long learner.
