Classification Summary:
Serves as team physician and determines medical protocols and best practices to ensure a high standard of safety for students and medical staff.
Classification Standard Duties:
Work in collaboration with the Director of Sports Medicine to ensure appropriate and safe care for student athletes. Educates staff on medical issues as needed. Responsible for communication with parents and families regarding the health care provided to their student, as appropriate. Collaborates with the Athletic Director to ensure safe athletic participation for all students. Models appropriate conduct related to treatment and respect for patients.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency
Required Education:Licensed Physician; Required Experience:Three (3) years of professional experience directly related to the standard duties as outlined.; Equivalency:None; Required Certification/License:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
