JOB SUMMARY:
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing exceptional care and service to Northeastern university student-athletes. This individual will deliver athletic training services to effectively manage all injuries/illnesses experienced by intercollegiate athletes, including prevention, evaluation, management, and reconditioning of athletic injuries to nurture safety and well-being. Athletic trainers are expected to manage potentially catastrophic, acute, and chronic athletic injuries within the scope of practice for athletic training, to include rehabilitation and return-to-play decisions. In addition, this position is expected to collaborate and coordinate effectively with team physicians, physical therapists, sports medicine fellows, athletic training students, and other clinical students associated with Sports Performance and Northeastern University, strength and conditioning coaches, head coaches and sport administrators.
This is a full-time,12-month, benefits eligible position.
