MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to operating and equipment budgets as established by the Athletic Department.
Establish relations with coaches, players, administrators, local medical personnel and the public.
Select student assistants in cooperation with the Physical Education department and the Director of Athletics.
Delegate and supervise volunteer assistants and student trainers.
Assist in promotion and public relations activities for the Wiley College Athletic Department.
Enforce discipline and courtesy with the use of Wiley College training facilities.
Evaluate and review the program and recommend changes to the Director of Athletics.
Assist in monitoring strength and conditioning activities for the department.
Other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Athletics and Strategic Retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field. NATA certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Athletic training, Kinesiology or related field. Knowledge of and commitment to NAIA / NCAA rules.
