Works closely with team physicians in providing treatment of PHSC intercollegiate athletes.
Develops and maintains training and treatment records.
Supervises student workers assigned to the athletic training area.
Assists in the planning and coordinating of fitness activities for students and staff.
Travels with athletic teams to provide training services at away games.
Assists with developing and implementing appropriate goals and objectives in the College's Long-Range Plan.
Works with the appropriate staff to handle athletic insurance claims. Corresponds with physicians and other medical personnel.

Maintains National Athletic Trainers Association Certification and Florida Department of Health Licensure for Trainers.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required from regionally accredited institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and Florida Department of Health.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree required from regionally accredited institution.
- Degree in physical education/health related field from a regionally accredited institution.
