Waldorf University is seeking interested and qualified candidates for a full-time Athletic Trainer. Part-time PRN Trainer opportunities may also be available. Full-time appointments are for 10 months starting in the last week in July no later than August 1st, ending after the 3rd week in May no later than the end of May (annually). Training services requested and assigned during summer months will be paid separately.
Responsibilities include assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all training aspects in support of a NAIA athletic program covering over 20 sport teams. This includes but is not limited to; prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, referrals, and administration of athletic injuries. Schedule will vary based on assigned sport/season and will include nights and some weekends in addition to possible travel during post-season as schedule allows. Weekly clinic hours will be scheduled by Head Athletic Trainer.
