| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Current National Athletic Trainer’s Board of Certification (NATABOC) and CPR/AED certifications and eligibility for Michigan state licensure required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid vehicle operator’s license and a driving record acceptable for coverage by the university’s insurance carrier.

- One year of experience in an independent setting.
- Post graduate Athletic Training experience at the NCAA/NAIA level – highly preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.
- Knowledge of EMR software.

| Position Purpose |
Responsible for assisting in the administration of a sound sports medicine program. Practice athletic training competently including but not limited to injury/illness prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care of and rehabilitation/reconditioning of student athletes suffering from illness or injury. Keep accurate records of all treatments of athletic injuries; maintain an organized and functional athletic training room.
