Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and three years of related experience as an athletic trainer; or master's degree in appropriate area of specialization and one year of related experience. Must possess or be able to obtain the National Athletic Trainer Association Certificate.

Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply NCAA and Division rules and regulations;
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking based upon in-depth data, substantiating information, considering and respecting others input and personal values and ethics;
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing;
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations;
Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives;
Knowledge of current best practices in sports medicine and physical fitness; and
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles and practices.
This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.
