Job Description:
SUNY Delhi is seeking to fill a full-time Athletic Trainer (ATC). SUNY Delhi sponsors 18 sports at the NCAA Division III level. This is a 10-month period of obligation, annually renewable position. Anticipated start date: August 1, 2026
Responsibilities: SUNY Delhi's two athletic trainers work in conjunction to provide management of a comprehensive Sports Medicine program. The selected candidate will work together with the other AT and the Head AT to provide athletic training services including prevention, care, and rehabilitation; provide medical care during practices, home contests, and selected away competitions; provide supervision of student assistants; and work collaboratively with SUNY Delhi Health Services Practitioners, Director of Health and Counseling Services, and coaches for the health and welfare of all student-athletes participating on the College's sanctioned athletic teams.
This position will also include additional athletics related responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Candidates should possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and both written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must be a role model and leader while in the Athletic Training areas. The ability to multitask and handle a job with ongoing daily changes and basic supervisory skills a plus. General computer skills required including Microsoft software (Word, Office, Excel, etc.). Must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NCAA regulations as they relate to sports medicine.
