Central Christian College of Kansas invites applications for a full-time Athletic Trainer to support the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes across its intercollegiate athletics programs. This 12-month position is part of the athletic training staff and plays a vital role in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and overall athlete wellness.
The Athletic Trainer provides care for athletic performance, injuries, and illnesses, develops prevention programs, maintains medical documentation, collaborates with coaches and physicians, and oversees athletic training supplies and equipment. The role also includes supervision of student workers and contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability, and student formation.
Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), maintain BOC certification, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Kansas. CPR/AED certification is required, and experience in collegiate athletics is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a clear and consistent Christian faith and support the College’s mission to provide a Christ-centered education for character.
