SUMMARY

SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for an Athletic Trainer. Reporting directly to the Head Athletic Trainer, this position will work with other certified athletic trainers, team doctor(s), the Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP), coaches, student athletes, as well as campus departments including the Health Center, Counseling Center, and the Disability Resource Center to provide high quality assistance to various constituents across campus. This is a full-time, 11-month position with the month of June off.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

  • Provides coverage for the Athletic Training clinic, home practices and contests, away contests as assigned, and supervision of the Athletic Training students.
  • Provides injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries.
  • Provides short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
